OUR AGENDA IS SIMPLE
The "Right"
Kind of Iowa
As governor, Ashley Hinson will bring the same passion for defending corporations and special interests that she brought to Capitol Hill to the governor’s mansion on Terrace Hill.

Be Part of Something Great... Again!
The Economy
Ashley Hinson fights for the economy she wants to see in America: one where millionaires and billionaires get richer and working families are left holding the bag. Ashley is a proud champion of extending the massive breaks for wealthy Americans and corporations in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Even though almost the entire benefit of the $2 trillion tax giveaway went to the top one percent, Ashley Hinson wants to take it one step further. She is willing to spend $4.6 trillion more over the next ten years to ensure that rich people don’t ever have to pay their fair share.

As your governor, Ashley Hinson will always stand up for billionaires and corporations, and their ability to get richer on the backs of working families.
Ashley Hinson has boldly said “I don’t think every American wants health insurance.” That’s why she has time and time again refused to denounce her colleagues who have tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act. She is far more committed to hiding her position on protecting health care access and affordability for Iowans than she is protecting that access and affordability.
To the nearly half a million Iowans with pre-existing conditions, Ashley Hinson has a message for you: tough luck. To the 323,000 Iowans who receive their health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, Ashley Hinson has a message for you: maybe try not getting sick.
Health Insurance
Women’s Health
Ashley Hinson believes that a woman’s medical decisions belong between her, her doctor, AND the government. In Congress, Ashley is a cosponsor of one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country, with no exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother. Ashley also proudly stands against Iowans who want to start families by using IVF. The Life at Conception Act she cosponsors would even ban IVF nationwide and make it harder for thousands of Iowans to start families.
As your governor, Ashley Hinson will ensure women and families will walk into their doctor’s office with the government right in there with them.
Ashley Hinson has long believed Iowans deserve a representative in Congress that toes the party line and stands up against attempts to reach across the aisle. She was recently named Iowa’s least bipartisan House member, not even cracking the top 100 most bipartisan members of Congress. Ashley voted NO on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law which included $330 million for clean water infrastructure, including nearly $75 million to replace toxic lead pipes and $3.2 billion in infrastructure investments to improve roads, bridges, rail projects, airports, and more. She voted against “Marxist spending” by trying to stop Iowa from getting nearly a billion dollars for high-speed broadband.
As your governor, Ashley will continue to turn down federal investments and hurt her constituents whenever her party bosses tell her to.
